Danny B Jammin'

A true San Antonio radio legend, Danny B has helped create the soundtrack of the Alamo City for generations.

A 45-year radio veteran, Danny B has been entertaining San Antonio audiences since 1984. His career has taken him through some of the city's most memorable stations, including 760 KSJL, 102.7 KTFM, KITY Power 93, and mornings on 98.5 The Beat.

Through changing formats, changing music and changing generations of listeners, one thing has remained constant: Danny's ability to make radio feel personal. He knows the music brings people to the station, but personality, humor and a genuine connection are what keep them listening.

Whether he's sharing a story, cracking a joke, talking with callers or bringing his own energy to a favorite record, Danny believes great radio should feel spontaneous, entertaining and close to home.

After more than four decades behind the microphone, the passion is still there. The music is still fun. And entertaining San Antonio is still what Danny B does best.

DJ Jam Master D at the turntables

Freestyle · Electro · Old School

DJ Jam Master D

Some DJs learned the culture. DJ Jam Master D helped live it.

He began behind the turntables in 1983, during the explosion of breakdancing, electro and the birth of hip-hop. Inspired by Herbie Hancock's “Rockit,” he started with a pair of belt-drive turntables before mastering the legendary Technics 1200s.

Specializing in freestyle, electro, breakdance classics, old-school hip-hop, new wave and open-format mixing, he kept dance floors moving throughout South Texas. Smooth transitions, creative beat mixing and the ability to read any crowd became his signature.

After stepping away in 1995, he eventually returned with a mission: preserve the music that shaped a generation. His sets are not playlists manufactured from nostalgia. They're soundtracks created by someone who was there when the music first moved the streets, clubs and dance floors.

DJ Henry Spinnin Finley mixing on turntables

Freestyle · Breakbeats · Hard House · Dance · EDM

DJ Henry Spinnin Finley

A lifelong love of music, an energetic mixing style and an enduring passion for turntables.

DJ Henry Spinnin Finley grew up on the West Side of San Antonio, Texas, where he developed a deep love for music during the 1980s. In 1987, while they were freshmen in high school, Henry and a group of close friends began DJing together.

His passion for mixing was inspired by the talented DJs performing at San Antonio's hottest clubs and local hangouts. Watching them command the turntables and energize a crowd motivated Henry to become part of the DJ culture himself.

Over the years, Henry has developed an energetic mixing style that brings together freestyle, breakbeats, hard house, dance, EDM and other high-energy genres. Although DJing has changed tremendously with computers, digital software and modern mixing platforms, his love for traditional turntables has never faded. For Henry, the turntables remain at the heart of the craft.

Today, DJ Henry Spinnin Finley can be heard on Classic Hits 96.9 FM, broadcasting from San Antonio, and on Powerhouse Radio, an internet station based in New York and Florida. Whether he is reaching listeners through the local airwaves or streaming worldwide, Henry continues to bring authentic energy, musical knowledge and a lifelong passion for mixing to every set.

DJ Strive

Classic Image Jamz · Industrial · New Wave · Blend Masters

DJ Strive

From the heart of San Antonio’s Westside to the airwaves across the country.

A Westside legend, DJ Strive made his mark as the head DJ of Image West, commanding the main room with the classic Image jamz that kept the dance floor moving.

His talent wasn’t limited to one sound or one room. At Image South, he took over the back room with industrial tracks and new wave hits, always pushing boundaries and bringing something fresh to the mix.

A DJ and producer with a style ahead of its time, Strive also led the Blend Masters, making his mark behind the decks with creativity and unmistakable energy.

Today, DJ Strive takes that same signature sound coast to coast, rocking radio airwaves across the United States. From the Westside to the world.
